An Independence Day Celebration

Image of United States FlagToday we celebrate Independence Day here in the U.S.

It’s a time to reflect on the brave few who pledged their lives to separation from the rule of Great Britain.

It’s a time to rejoice in our unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We live in a wonderful country.

We share an incredible history spanning these 235 years since the Declaration of Independence was signed.

This is a time for us to embrace our fellow country-folk and cherish the freedoms we have.

It’s a time to watch fireworks shows, visit the beach, sit out on your front porch and spend time with loved ones.

Whatever you’re doing today, savor it. Savor every moment and acknowledge why and how you are afforded the luxuries you are today.

By all means, feel free to grow your business today and connect with others. Just don’t lose sight (if you’re a U.S. resident) of what truly matters today.

To quote John Adams in regard to Independence Day (though it’s cited in Wiki that he considered July 2nd the official day):

It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.

So, let’s celebrate!

Thank you for sharing your time here and we’ll chat again on Wednesday.

Be well.
