Business Ideas: Over 489 Ideas to Start Working from Home

Image of Lego HouseThe last time we added to our Business Ideas series around here was the membership site strategy using a premium WordPress theme and Facebook for marketing.

That’s a great method for monetizing a site and aligns well with our talk about targeting, over-delivering, and deepening the sales funnel.

This round we’re going to keep it short and sweet. I stumbled upon a link that turned out to be quite the resource for sparking work from home ideas.

See below to explore a list of 489+ businesses you can launch.

Master List of Home Business Ideas

Seriously, 490 or so ideas is a lot to wade through. But some of them present a fun and interesting challenge if you plan to tie them into the interwebs somehow (which we’re fans of doing around here).

Your next home based venture is…

Do any of those ideas appeal to you and which ones? Do you already own and operate a business from home? If you’re just starting out, this list is a great jump start for your idea generation.

Wow John! Thanks for sharing the link. Not sure all of the ideas are really viable, but it’s a great place to generate ideas. I had no idea it existed. Great share!

Wow – what a list! My personal favorite is the “Baby Handprint and Footprint Bronzing Service”, although I think I’ve already got my own work at home plan figured out.

But this is a really great reference to share with all of those people who argue that it isn’t possible to work from home, or that the only way to be financially secure is to get a *real* job. Thanks for sharing!

Ha, I looked at that one too. It reminded me of seeing my first pair of baby shoes bronzed back in the day. Real jobs are so 1900′s :)

Oh my goodness Jon, what a list.

I’ll have to take a look at if just for curiosity sake my friend. It will be a great one to reference the next time someone says, I don’t know what kind of business to start. Dah, I have 490 ideas for you! :-)

Hope all is well with you Jon. Haven’t seen you around much. Take care and have a great weekend.
