25 Ways to Turn YOU Into a Business (Free PDF)

Image of Fortune Cooking Time for ChangeAre you having difficulty coming up with your next business idea? Do you know someone who is?

Sometimes we just need to look inwardly and ask ourselves some key questions to get the wheels turning. It’s OK to not know which direction to go.

It’s also OK to diversify your income streams if you already have an offline business, blog, or a growing niche site empire.

There’s lots of advice out there to help you pick a direction and develop new income streams. But with all the information and advice out there, whose do you accept?

Why not a bit of your own ;)

What I mean about using “a bit of your own” information is you can answer questions about yourself that will help you decide which actions to take next.

Today I’m giving away a free PDF worksheet to help you with those questions. It was made up partly while I was working with a client. It’s a worksheet of 25 ways (or 25 prompts) for you to print out, read to yourself and answer honestly. For each prompt I give you, you’ll fill in the blank.

(Don’t worry, it’s easy. They are all based on you or your own perspectives.)

I also include some extended commentary on each point to frame up some direction for each idea. My intent is for you to get those creative gears turning after you’ve answered the questions and read the commentary.

Then it’s off to the races as you fuse market demand with your own interests!

I ask you to please share this document with others and let them know where you found it. As with all things on Jonalford.com I’m open to your feedback so let me know what you think.

You can either right click and save or click the link to open it and then save the 12-page PDF to your computer.

Enjoy!

Hi Jonathan – I registered this site Nov ’10 but I’ve been blogging since 2008 and doing a lot of ghost-writing and consulting since about the summer of 2009 or so. Thanks for your visit.

    Hey Jon,

Thanks for the free pdf, it is safely saved onto my pc and I shall go read it now as I have a bad habit of downloading great information, saying to myself… I will read it later and never get around to it!

I found your blog after a comment you left on Adrienne’s blog, very glad I did.

    Sally :)

This was fantastic Jon. I started the ebook and as soon as I complete this quick thank you, I’m heading back to finish it. Tomorrow I will actually go through the activity. I’m a big on deriving an authentic personal brand. This book helps one get there…or helps one sharpen up their game. one more time…thank you!

You’re quite welcome, Jk. I appreciate your comment and wish you inspiration as you look over the worksheet. We all have those times where we think that everything under the sun has been said and done. While that may be true, when we pour our own unique experiences, perspectives, and personalities into a project (or our content) we can shine new light on an old topic. It becomes new again or new altogether because it’s “topic+me”

We’re all our own unique enterprise, just have to do a little digging. The deeper you dig the less likely you are to push out the same ol’ tired, rehashed business. That’s why I put this together. To jump-start ideas but also to help people see they can make any endeavor completely new by infusing themselves into it.

    Hi Jon

I love reading and definitely read everything I download ;-) Thanks for the generous gift and I will RT and be sure to mention it to my blog readers and followers on Twitter too.

At the moment I am just about to diversify and hopefully monetize a couple of sites I will be building. Once I finish my research and everything else that goes with building a viable business.

Thanks so much for sharing this information with us Jon. Much appreciated.

      Hey Jayne,

Thanks for taking a look, I appreciate it. We all need a refresher on the basics from time to time. It’s tough when you have so much advice and information thrown at you; it’s hard to realize you may have some hidden answers within.

You’re welcome, Ian! Give it a read and with any luck you’ll find inspiration for current or future projects. Information overload, we’ve all been there so don’t feel too bad. Sometimes I get my best inspiration from just stepping away for a day.

      See you soon…

Thank you for your kind words. Life comes at you fast, no worries. I do hope people found value and came away with a great idea or new direction for their business from the guide. Sometimes all it takes a slight new spin on a topic to set an inspiring series of events into motion.
